Thread #573348,[1]https://archive.vn/dIUWj also known as The Emergence of Dr Gears, was a thread on 4chan’s /x/, started on April 3, 2008. It represents a third wave of new SCP entries from /x/ (the first two being Thread #448755 and Thread #453291) and marks the introduction of numerous notable SCPs, most of which were written & posted by Dr Gears (then writing as “Cog”).[2]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-81661/scp-882#post-1357023 Dr Gears’ works had a profound impact on readers, and inspired the publication of additional classic SCPs, including SCP-012 (“A Bad Composition”) and SCP-093 (“Red Sea Object”).[3]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-8099.0-8099.364 Dr Gears would being another thread to post original SCPs (thread #582988), which would also inspire more /x/ authors to participate.[4]https://archive.ph/WXELA
The thread starts with a new SCP entry by Dr Gears/Cog; SCP-882 (later titled “A Machine”), the first lasting and notable cogworks article.[5]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-3449.0-3479.65 Other classic SCPs by Dr Gears were first posted here, including SCP-406 (“Mysterious Lifeform”), SCP-455 (“Cargo Ship”), SCP-053 (“Young Girl”), SCP-014 (“Pipe Nightmare”, this would find its way onto EditThis and beyond as SCP-015 instead[6]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-10391.0-10421.62), SCP-162 (“Sea-Related Mass”), SCP-718 (“Eyeball”), SCP-682 (“Hard-to-destroy Reptile”) SCP-238 (“Building Complex”, non-viable/rewritten as of 2022), and SCP-218 (“Lamprey-Mass Organism”, non-viable/rewritten as of 2015).
The thread also contains the first known versions of SCP-012, SCP-500, SCP-079, SCP-300, and SCP-093. User Robin Sure comments and reposts SCP-113.
A number of ultimately non-viable entries are also posted, including SCP-225, a joke SCP-284, SCP-142, SCP-742, , SCP-625, SCP-097, SCP-360 SCP-414, SCP-888, and “SCP-[NUMBER MISSING]/Numberless” (“Entropy Reverser”).
Thread #573348 contains the first mention of what would become the standard format for containment fiction writing contests (the idea likely developing independently of this first mention).[7]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-14148.0-14217.287 As a result, SCP-001 lore was further developed,[8]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-14606.0-14681.7 and two SCP-001 proposals were submitted here (one informally “Alan’s Proposal”, the other anonymous; this is not including a racist, misogynist “SCP-000001”, meant to be Anonymous,[9]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-15004.0-15055.192 that was also posted, and that was added to the EditThis at SCP-016 in the Joke section).[10]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-15900.0-15969.37[11]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-18885.0-18885.64[12]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-17781.10-17781.20[13]http://web.archive.org/web/20080513035559/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-016[14]http://web.archive.org/web/20080519002824/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP_Series[15]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-15176.0-15245.74
Object Class standardization by this time had been developed on EditThis, and can be seen operating in SCP entries in this thread.[16]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-12913.35-12913.57 There is discussion of an official website (off of EditThis) for the SCP Series that emphasizes in-universe immersion for the purposes of out-of-universe believability and presentation, which Dr Gears was a supporter of.[17]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-20541.598-20627.415

SCP-012 (“A Bad Composition”)
SCP-012 was first posted to this /x/ thread, on April 5, 2008 by an anonymous /x/ user using the tripcode “!nrkDOUHxJk“.[18]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-11188.1-11295.1153 It was added to the EditThis Wiki a day later by an unknown user, and ported to the WikiDot by user xthevilecorruptor on July 25, 2008.[19]http://web.archive.org/web/20080624050714/http://www.editthis.info/scp_wiki/?title=SCP-012&action=history[20]http://web.archive.org/web/20080410224336/http://editthis.info/SCP_wiki/SCP-012[21]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-012, rev.0 It has undergone minimal changes in its history. It was initially a Keter class, but this was changed to Euclid on EditThis once the object classes became more established. (The categorization of “Euclid” has been questioned since.) The SCP Wiki lists the author as “ITIFAMCO”.[22]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/attribution-metadata SCP-012 is a musical composition written on a parchment, notated in human blood. It features a strong compulsion effect, driving anyone who looks at it to finish writing it by means of self-exsanguination. SCP-012 became the inspiration for the “On Mount Golgotha” canon, as well as many other SCPs and tales, up to and including Series 8.[23]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-7676
“SCP-012 can be read as an allegory for the wiki itself:
- many authors come together over time to create it
- they pour out their creative life-force to bring it into existence
- each makes their individual contribution, but towards a single core concept
- the result is not uniform or even harmonious – a cacophony of canons
- in the bigger picture, all their efforts are doomed, as it will never be “finished”
Perhaps that echo of experience found in On Mount Golgotha, by many a prospective author pouring their heart into their work only to die upon posting, is part of the source of its power.”[24]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-1724632/on-mount-golgotha-hub#post-2547144 — psul
SCP-500 (“Panacea”)
“I have this idea I added into the list. Could anyone with more writing skills complete it? It seems short.”— Anonymous author of SCP-500
SCP-500 was posted to this thread on April 5, 2008, and ported to EditThis the same day by an anonymous user.[25]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-11295.129-11295.688[26]http://web.archive.org/web/20080410224636/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-500[27]http://web.archive.org/web/20080611035659/http://www.editthis.info/scp_wiki/?title=SCP-500&action=history It was ported to the WikiDot on July 26, 2008 by user far2, who is credited along with user snorlison as the author on the SCP Wiki (the latter given the credit via a chatbot’s author override function).[28]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev.0[29]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/attribution-metadata[30]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-78192/scp-500#post-2366226 Its author is anonymous.
The initial version is as follows:
Item # SCP-500
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-500 needs to be stored in a cool and dry place away from bright light. The item is only allowed to be accessed by level 4 personnel to prevent misapplication.
Note: This is not to be used to cure a hangover. Go get AIDS first. – Dr. [500-0021D]
Description: SCP-500 is a small plastic can which at the time of writing contains sixty-two red pills. One pill, when taken orally, effectively cures the subject of all diseases within two hours, exact time depending on the severity and amount of the subject’s conditions.
The article was added to while on EditThis, including a cross-link to SCP-008 (“Zombie Plague”), SCP-409 (“Contagious Crystal”), and SCP-038 (“The Everything Tree”).[31]http://web.archive.org/web/20080708041313/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-500 The line about getting AIDS was removed in early July, but this would later be re-added.[32]http://web.archive.org/web/20080714050106/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-500 By the time it was transferred to WikIDot, it had additional cross-links; to SCP-914 (“The Clockworks”, requested by Dr Gears), SCP-107 (“Death Jingle”, non-viable), and a second time to SCP-038.[33]http://web.archive.org/web/20080801235943/http://www.editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/SCP-500[34]https://web.archive.org/web/20080814031447/https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500 Additional cross-tests and links would be added on WikiDot, to SCP-427, Olympia Project, SCP-217, Experiment Log 447 A, and others. It was added to the Heritage collection in 2013, and removed when the collection was disbanded in 2020.[35]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev. 42, 47
“I always liked it because it is an unambiguous good thing that has been stolen away from the rest of the world by a secret conspiracy of bureaucrats who have experimented on it, wasted some and then basically locked the remaining supply away forever on the notion that there is a limited amount so no one can have any more at all.”[36]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-78192/scp-500#post-1075757 — Sorts

SCP-079 (“Old AI”)
First posted in this thread by an anonymous user.[42]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-12913.0-13131.1300 It was transferred to the EditThis the same day.[43]http://web.archive.org/web/20080410224351/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-079[44]http://web.archive.org/web/20080429200429/http://www.editthis.info/scp_wiki/?title=SCP-079&action=history It was ported to the WikiDot on July 26, 2008 by user far2.[45]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-079, rev.0
SCP-079 was one of the earliest SCPs on record to have an interview with the anomaly, and also to include a cast of O5 characters. Prior, a lone O5 member was included, but not in a pseudo-conversational or interactive manner; both with O5 members interacting with each other through the documentation, and also directly interviewing the anomaly. It also is one of the earliest uses of escalating object classes in-article; first Safe, then Euclid, and finally Keter.[46]http://web.archive.org/web/20080410224351/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-079 The talk page of the EditThis article specifically mentions the then-newly-developed object class page, helping to clarify the escalation as a narrative device.[47]http://web.archive.org/web/20080617062240/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-079 The object class was changed definitively to Euclid while on WikiDot.[48]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-079, rev.15
Interview and mutual cross-references with SCP-682 (and SCP-076-2) were were added while on EditThis between April and July 2008.[49]http://web.archive.org/web/20080513102848/http://www.editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/SCP-079[50]http://web.archive.org/web/20080723223925/http://editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/SCP-079
“Reading through it again… this particular Skip is a great example of both what made older SCP articles great and memorable, and a great example of what made older SCP articles so bland and primitive. So much of what’s here works really well (the idea of an advanced AI on archaic hardware, the fact that it’s friends with 682, the part where the Foundation *started* to do something really stupid but then backed off when they noticed red flags), but so much of what’s here completely fails to hold up (the way that its friendship with 682 was handled, the cringey Able namedrop, several severe clinical tone problems…).”[51]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-77523/scp-079#post-3821864 — AntagonistChan
SCP-[NUMBER MISSING]/”Numberless” (“Entropy Reverser”)
“The Wright brothers invented the airplane in 1903. In 1914 men were killing each other with them. Eleven years was all it took.”
This non-viable SCP was first posted in this thread by 4chan user “Administrator Holzman”.[52]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-13463.0-13493.37 It was a device that reverses entropy within its immediate surroundings, achieving anomalous effects (e.g. perpetual motion machines). An addendum deals with the ethical considerations of not releasing the SCP to the larger world, and includes the in-universe author mandating the termination of all staff who had knowledge of it (including the in-universe author).[53]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-13597.196-13597.1419
The SCP was highly praised in its time, but was not successfully transferred to WikiDot, and is considered a “lost” SCP.
SCP-[NUMBER MISSING] was posted to the EditThis the same day it was released on /x/, where it was praised heavily, and was nominated as SCP-001.[54]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-13463.0-13493.37[55]http://web.archive.org/web/20080410225109/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP-Numberless[56]http://web.archive.org/web/20080612010551/http://www.editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-Numberless[57]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-13976.0-14027.93[58]http://web.archive.org/web/20080517151235/http://editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-001[59]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-14434.0-14495.7 It is not present on the SCP Series list on EditThis in June 2008, a month prior to the creation of the WikiDot.[60]http://web.archive.org/web/20080614163913/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/SCP_Series It is not listed on the SCP Classic Wiki’s EditThis list,[61]http://scpclassic.wikidot.com/editthis-scps and never appeared on WikiDot in a new slot number. It does appear on the SCP Classic Wiki’s list of extra SCPs which did not get successfully transferred to WikiDot.[62]http://scpclassic.wikidot.com/extras-editthis
The SCP Classic Wiki shows the article with the modified designation slot number “SCP-555”, which was suggested on the EditThis talk page. However this does not track with early archives of Series 1 on WikiDot.[63]http://scpclassic.wikidot.com/scp-numberless[64]https://web.archive.org/web/20080801200831/https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-series It is highly upvoted for the SCP Classic Wiki, and its comment section adds additional praise.[65]http://scpclassic.wikidot.com/forum/t-648794/scp-numberless
SCP-093 (“Red Sea Object”)
“I kind of rushed this and dont know what to add, It’s not catastrophic like the others”[66]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-22768.0-22855.96 — Anonymous author of initial SCP-093 on /x/
The initial SCP-093 appeared here on April 8, 2008 by an anonymous author (tripcode: “!0TiJEVqeYc”) in a dramatically shorter form:
“Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-093 Is to be kept on a silver lined mirror on a 1′ x 9″ pedestal at least 4 off the ground floor in containment cell block ?. Object is not to be contained in areas exceeding 12′ x 10′ nor placed on mahogany, pine, cherry or aluminum pedestals above or below level 1 of containment cell block ?. Object can be handled safely, albeit gently, without consequence. Tests and consequences involving containment conditions can be viewed in Section-B:35-1 of attached report.
Description: Object was found on the shores of the Red Sea, 30 Jan 1968. Emitting a low sigh and a dim blue gleam, object has since turned an orange mix of red only emitting a hum of varying volume whilst in the presence of female examiners ages 34-41. Object resembled the documented blue for 54:34 at 1:23 on 26 April. 1986 coincidentally when the body of 194- 9834 was discovered in Research Facility ?. Ties between 194- 9834 and I-093 remain inconclusive, and effects of prolonged exposure to I-093 remain unknown except for infrequent reports of periods of calmness and in the case of 242-0049 as periodic waves of depression, loss of balance and thoughts of suicide. These feelings have reportedly not exceeded 1 week 4 days. Object seemed to react to the presence of 242-0056 by turning a light violet for no more than 2:09; documented on 12 March 1993. Effects of this reaction remain unknown.
Additional Notes: Origins of I-093 remain unknown and documents of recovery of I-093 have since been destroyed by fire in Research Facility ?, 09 December 1989. Reports on the feelings of researchers who handled I-093 have remained inconsequential since 19 April 1995.”
It was ported to the EditThis, the same day or one day later with the question marks replaced with Greek letters.[67]http://web.archive.org/web/20080617062256/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-093 It was eventually given an object class of Euclid while on EditThis.[68]http://web.archive.org/web/20080518145546/http://editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/SCP-093 No other changes were made by the time it was ported to the WikiDot, on July 26, 2008 by user far2.[69]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-093, rev.0
SCP-093 was given a substantial rewrite in March of 2009 by WikiDot user and SCP author NekoChris, who also wrote supplemental documentation (tests and recovered item lists).[70]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-395631[71]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-093, rev.7 It was added to the Heritage list in 2013, and removed when the list was dissolved in 2020.[72]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-093, revs. 23, 30
SCP-093 is notable in that it was an early example of a narrative-heavy, lore-dense, worldbuilding, and novella-length composition, and during an era (Series 1) when brevity was valued, and the potential of the format for longer-form works had not been recognized, utilized, or explored.[73]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-573255[74]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-406802 It accomplished its narrative primarily through the use of exploration logs, which presages a later turn in SCP composition towards long-form articles that utilize logs to tell more elaborate stories.[75]e.g. https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1730 SCP-093 also presages the modern-day (circa 2022) philosophical mantra of Anomaly As Vehicle, and has been continually well-received in the current day for its timelessness.[76]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093
“One of the things I learned, and this could be wrong, is part of the atmosphere of the SCP should never be total understanding of the object or focus. This is why it’s contained. There is some element not understood. And this also is what generates the feeling of dread to me. The unknown variable, the unexplainable feature, the thing that somehow means something but placing precisely what isn’t possible with the human mind.”[77]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-1231040 — NekoChris, on SCP-093
“This is my favorite SCP. It’s a testament to the fact that this is a writing website, and there are no bad ideas that can’t be improved with phenomenal execution.”[78]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-1703783 — Boulder Smolder, on SCP-093

Trivia
Thread #573348 features what is possibly the earliest and first self-insert; Dr. Gears in Cog’s memo to SCP Foundation Directors.[80]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-27091.0-27091.81
The initial SCP-097 was posted to this thread, and later named “Negro Bank”. It was added to EditThis in the Joke section, but users argued it was “at least as serious as Josie”, so it was then added to the mainlist.[81]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-8967.0-8967.1041[82]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-11477.9-11477.84[83]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-11069.0-11069.79[84]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-11391.0-11391.182
SCP-[NUMBER MISSING]/Numberless” (“Entropy Reverser”) was perhaps the most successful and loved SCP that was lost to time. It had the potential to be a very successful and classic SCP, alongside others dating back to /x/.
A comment in this thread first states the mantra of “best article in a given slot”. The same comment also advocates for what would later be known as “coldposting” etiquette.[85]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-9963.0-9963.280
The initial SCP-500 was little more than a few sentences, with the description being two. The original anonymous author introduced the SCP entry with the statement, “I have this idea I added into the list. Could anyone with more writing skills complete it? It seems short.”[86]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-12062.1-12075.844 Between the one-sentence containment procedures and the two-sentence description was a note, which read: “This is not to be used to cure a hangover. Go get AIDS first. – Dr. [500-0021D]”. The discussion page on EditThis shows that it was removed, and that someone wanted it added back.[87]http://web.archive.org/web/20080611035828/http://www.editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-500 After it was added to WikiDot, user Binks added the AIDS line back in within 3 days.[88]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev.1 It remains in place to this day.
As more and more cross-tests/links were added to SCP-500, user snorlison had to edit the article to make proposed cross-tests definitive, so that the site could canonically figure out how many pills of SCP-500 were left.[89]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev.7 He miscounted, multiple times, so had to go back and change each count instance in the article.[90]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev.12, 13, 17 The amount of edits snorlison did for the article to keep the pill count correct eventually earned him credit as the author of the article, per a chatbot’s determination, likely based on edit frequency. The chatbot’s decision was honored by SCP Wiki staff in lieu of not knowing the original author.[91]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-78192/scp-500#post-2366226 Keeping count of SCP-500 would remain a perennial issue.[92]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-78192/scp-500#post-365813[93]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-500, rev. 34 A lone comment in 2015 suggests simply redacting the exact number of pills, solving the issue and “leaving the exact amount to the imagination”.[94]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-78192/scp-500#post-2360581 This comment is unresponded to.
SCP-079 and SCP-682 originated from the same thread. SCP-079 was edited over time to include a brief but memorable interaction with SCP-682 (a later-added interview has SCP-079 asking where SCP-682 is, as it remembers it far beyond what its memory is usually capable of).[95]http://web.archive.org/web/20080723223925/http://editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/SCP-079
A pseudo-SCP-article & tale written in 2019 by WikiDot user Cerastes (“Outdated“) recasts SCP-079 as explained. A note from an O5 member (O5-18, as this tale is set in 2082) explains that the technology that once made SCP-079 so ominous and threatening is “outmatched by the one in my coffee machine”, and offers meta-commentary on Series 1 articles as a simpler time for the Foundation. It acts as dual-universal commentary; not only on how the technology had changed by this fictional point in time, but also how much it had changed in the present day in 2019.
The initial SCP-093 was only 285 words long. Once ported to EditThis, users recommended it for deletion unless “someone can salvage this”, with another anonymous user stating “Agreed. Text is too messed up.”[96]http://web.archive.org/web/20080617062256/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-093 It was given a substantial rewrite in March of 2009 by WikiDot user and SCP author NekoChris (and with very little formal approval).[97]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-395631[98]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-093, rev.7 This rewrite nearly quintupled the length of the original (from 285 words to 1,300); this is not including the added test files, which were created as stand-alone supplements. SCP-093 was one of the only early SCPs without an image. It initially had an image accompany it on /x/,[99]https://archive.ph/vVdae#selection-7311.4-7315.6 but was not included on its transfer to EditThis, though the discussion page there shows a user attempting to get the original picture(s) added.[100]http://web.archive.org/web/20080617062256/http://editthis.info/scp_wiki/Talk:SCP-093
SCP-093 was the third SCP on the site to reach triple-digit upvotes.[101]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-926044
When asked about his favorite SCP in 2015, YouTuber Markiplier described SCP-093.[102]https://youtu.be/ehtN40RNjcA?t=2436[103]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-2227580
NekoChris, the author credited with SCP-093 and who wrote a vast majority of the current version, has stopped into the article’s comment section as late as 2018 to express gratitude.[104]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-2767274[105]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-118537/scp-093#post-3747670
NekoChris’ real name is Chris Phipps.[106]http://www.wikidot.com/user:info/nekochris
NekoChris also wrote SCP-610 (“The Flesh That Hates”), which is the basis for Sarkacism.[107]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/agent-nekochris-personnel-file[108]https://scponecanonproject.fandom.com/wiki/Sarkicism[109]https://scp-db.fandom.com/wiki/Sarkicism[110]https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Sarkicism
An initial SCP-888 on /x/ was a spin-off of Dr Gears SCP-882, and was directly inspired by the cog-like nature of the work. Far from being up to standards of even that time, a line in this SCP-888 read: “No one, not even God himself should he step down from the heavens, is allowed to so much as even breathe on any moving part of #888.”[111]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-24920.0-24931.1737[112]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-25080.0-25149.238
In a 2021 interview, as well as elsewhere, Dr Gears notes that teasing critics on /x/ are what shaped Dr Gears the character into a cold, emotionless persona.[113]https://archive.ph/TzVOS#selection-8615.68-8615.165[114]https://archive.ph/TzVOS#selection-9787.215-9787.359 That teasing, and likely that critic, can likely be traced back in part to Thread #573348, to an unfavorable response to Dr Gears’ initial attempt at an in-universe Memo (the first of its kind).[115]https://archive.vn/dIUWj#selection-27281.0-27281.922
On /x/, a thread dedicated to collaboratively creating a proposed SCP-001 entry mentioned that the attempt needed “to out-epic SCP-Numberless”.[116]https://archive.ph/3QlpV#selection-2816.0-2867.47
SCP-[NUMBER MISSING]/Numberless” (“Entropy Reverser”) is mentioned in a footnote (Footnote 3) in The History of the Universe Part 1, referred to as “SCP-000”.[117]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one
